I'm Sally -  a marketing communications manager with extensive Australian and international experience in B2B/B2C technology, PR, social media, community management, events planning, brand management and web content development. Anything where your company needs a public face - I'm your gal. I'm based out of Melbourne, but I do work all over the world/timezones/currencies. I get stuff done.

Always up for a coffee and some time to chat about PR and Comms, especially around startups and the tech world.

I get what you're doing - I have an IT degree and 10+ years of tech comms expierence. I can explain it to your grandparents' grandparents.

I'm tenacious - I get it done, and fast. I will always find a way to make it happen. Like a terrier. Or something.

I'm lean - I've learnt where to cut and where to spend more time for greater payoff.

I'm well connected - I've had press coverage for clients in TechCrunch, Pando, VentureBeat, WSJ, Fairfax, ABC, News Ltd and all the other tech blogs.  Chances are I'll know someone you're looking to meet.

I love what I do - new technology and innovation is my lifeblood. Telling people about it is second nature and I'm always interested in hearing about what you're working on.

I throw incredible events - sometimes they're launches, sometimes they're parties, but always, they're memorable.

I love to mentor - I run the Founder Insitute chapter in Melbourne and offer advice to startups all over Australia.

I launched Larkspur Communications as a startup focused PR and communications consultancy to meet the needs of the companies who aren't ready for sometimes scary costs of having a PR agency on board, but still want to deliver their news and messages effectively to a targeted audience. Lean communications FTW!

I'm also co-producer at That Start Up Show - a web show filmed in Melbourne focusing on entrepreneurs and startups. Check out for more details!

I'm a Director at Founder Institute in Melbourne. Oh, and I provide pro bono work for charities and not-for-profits. Neat.
